Branding and Interior Design

Brief

Branded as a bakery and cafe initially, Craft found it difficult to attract the lunch and dinner crowd despite its extensive menu. One of the issues identified was a weak and incoherent branding, stemming from its name to its interior and collateral design.

Solution

Following a name change to Craft Bistro to better reflect its offerings, we looked into redesigning the logo, brand and space. To reflect their focus on providing wholesome and artisanal foods, we introduced hand drawn illustrations in the restaurant and menu to portray a personable brand – one that prepares food from the heart. Inspired by the Scandinavian style, we created a cozy space that is anchored in simplicity, minimalism and functionality.
