Brief
Inspired by the capsule hotels in Japan, The POD offers cozy and minimalistic “pods” for discerning travellers who desire fuss-free and convenient living. Neither a backpacker hostel nor a full-service hotel. The POD positions itself somewhere in between. The mission was to create a unique branding identity for this new accomodation in town.
Solution
Drawing inspiration from the modern and sleek interior design concept, we created an identity from the logo and signages to the rest of the hotel collateral based on simple squares (to resemble the pods) and clean lines. A custom numerical typeface was also designed for the rooms and bed numbers. Understanding how the interior design can be a main draw, we made photographs the key focus of the website and let the pictures do the talking.
